"Eh, your loss," he said, putting the money in and typing the numbers into the keypad. He handed her the chips. "What are your powers?"

Carter sighed. "Uhm, maybe two months ago? It was short. Not really anything."

"Not telling,"Logan smirked,"Not until you tell me yours,"she looked at him.

"Ever want to try again sometime soon?" She asked giving him a hug.

"I can read your mind and change your emotions," he lied. He grinned.

"Of course. But no one would want me." he hugged her back, not taking any hints.

"I know someone who would," She smiled, putting a hand on his chest and hugged him again.

"Can I make a guess?" He asked, chuckling softly. He wrapped his arm around her waist.

She blushed. "Sure," she smiled too.

"Lier,"Logan told him.

"I'm not a liar!" Sawyer said defensively. "I'm just holding off my powers on you because I'm nice." he grinned.

"You?" Carter asked, meeting her eyes this time.

"Maybe," she smiled again, putting her hand on his back.

"Maybe? I think you mean yes," he smiled, pulling her closer. "I'm sorry if I smell like sweat."

"Why won't you tell me?,"Logan asked. Her eyes flicker as they darkened.

"Maybe we both need one," she chuckled, shaking her head.

"Why won't you tell me?" he retorted.

"Need someone around?" Carter asked. "Or a shower?"

"Both," she laughed, pulling away from him.

"Because...,"Logan laughed .

Carter grinned. "I'm sure you'd be great to shower with, but I just can't expose you to this sexiness yet," he joked. He turned around to get a cup and filled it with water from the tap. He sipped it.

"Okay, then we won't tell each other... yet," he grinned mischievously. "Let's go sit in the courtyard." He stared eating his Butterfinger bar.

"Try me," she stuck her tongue out, heading for the stairs. This was her first time for any of this and she felt excited.

Carter's eyes went wide. "Woah, really?" He ran after her. "Stay down here, Liberty." He grinned. "Really?"
